Letters, 1818 Oct. 20 and 1828 Sept. 5, the first of which is from Andrew Jackson, at the Chickasaw treaty ground, to John McKee, in which is discussed the sale of land by the Chickasaws to the United States, as well as showing the Chickasaws how to grow and spin cotton. The second letter is from McKee, in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa Co., Ala., to George Hays, and in it is discussed McKee's move to Washington, D.C., his sale of his mills, and the settlement of his business affairs, including his debt to Louis Durant, in and around Tuscaloosa.
